Terms of Service
The rules for using Antny’s Attic, in plain English. Short version: pay for what you order, play fair on the servers, and your first 3 days are guaranteed. The details live below.
The short version
You rent a game server from us. You pay for the term you order. If you are not happy in the first 3 days, you get everything back. Keep your own copy of anything you would hate to lose, follow the rules below, and we will keep the servers up and answer when you write.
Who we are
Antny’s Attic is a game server hosting service run from Austin, Texas. One operator, real machines in a real rack, Linux across the fleet. The human behind it answers at [email protected] and in the Discord.
Who can order
- You are 18 or older, or a parent or guardian places the order and owns the account.
- The details you give at checkout are accurate and kept current.
- You are responsible for your account and for everything done through it, by you or anyone you share it with.
Refunds and the 3-day guarantee
Your first 3 days after activation are covered by a satisfaction guarantee. Not happy with the service, for any reason, and we refund 100% of what you paid for that term. No interrogation.
- Email [email protected] or open a ticket in the Discord within 3 days (72 hours) of your server going live for the first time.
- We process refunds to the original payment method within 5 business days.
- After the first 3 days the current term is non-refundable. Cancel any time to stop future billing, and your server stays live until the end of the term you paid for.
What you are buying
A game server for the term you order, billed in 30-day terms, with the slots, RAM and storage shown at checkout. Prices are in USD. Multi-month terms take 10% off the cycle. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that term.
Upgrades and downgrades happen from the panel, and your worlds, configs and mods carry over.
Acceptable use
You get real access to real machines, so this part matters. Your server may not be used for any of the following:
- Attacking, scanning, stress-testing or DDoSing anything you do not own.
- Anything illegal under United States or Texas law, including malware, fraud and stolen data.
- Content you do not have the rights to distribute: pirated games, ROMs, leaked builds.
- Cryptocurrency mining. Shared nodes are for game servers, and mining gets the server terminated.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors.
- Reselling our capacity as your own hosting business without written permission.
- Circumventing slot, RAM or storage limits, or anything that degrades service for other customers on your node.
Your content and backups
Your worlds, configs and uploads are yours. We run automatic backups, but backups are a safety net, not a promise. Download saves from the panel before big changes, and keep your own copy of anything you would hate to lose.
Uptime and liability
We monitor everything around the clock and aim for high uptime, but the service is provided as is. Routers fail, disks die, game updates break things. No host can promise uninterrupted service, and we will not pretend otherwise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us for the current billing term. If something goes wrong, we make it right by fixing it, crediting it or refunding it.
Suspension, termination and data
We can suspend a server for non-payment or a serious rule break, and we will tell you why. After a suspension for non-payment, files are kept for 7 days, then deleted. When your term ends or you cancel, your data stays available until the paid term runs out.
Changes to these terms
Updates are posted on this page with a new date, and material changes get announced in the Discord as well. Ordering, or keeping a server active after a change, means you accept the current version.
